Self Service

These Self Service Terms are subject to and made part of the Master Subscription Agreement.

“Self-Service Transaction” means a Subscription purchase through DataSet’s self service portal.

“Payment Information” means the additional information relevant to the Self-Service Transaction, including but not limited to Customer’s credit card number, the expiration date of the credit card and the email and postal addresses for billing and notification.

Trial and Self Service

SentinelOne may require Customer to register and designate a payment method for a free Subscription Term. Customer agrees that SentinelOne may begin charging Customer’s designated payment method the subscription fees for the paid plan Customer has chosen, plus any applicable tax at the end of the free trial unless Customer cancels prior to the end of the free trial period. Customer acknowledges that: (a) SentinelOne will not send a notice when the free trial period has ended; and (b) a subscription shall be deemed to have commenced at the end of the free trial.

CUSTOMER MAY CANCEL AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO THE END OF THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD WITHOUT CHARGE AND THERE WILL BE NO CHARGES TO YOUR PAYMENT METHOD.

Additional trial terms and conditions may appear on the trial registration web page. Any such additional terms and conditions are incorporated into this Agreement by reference and are legally binding.

ANY CUSTOMER DATA ENTER INTO THE SERVICES DURING A FREE TRIAL MAY BE PERMANENTLY LOST UNLESS CUSTOMER PURCHASES A SUBSCRIPTION TO THE SAME SERVICE OR EXPORTS SUCH DATA, BEFORE THE END OF THE TRIAL PERIOD

Self Service

When Customer enters a Self-Service Transaction with SentinelOne for a Subscription Term Customer expressly authorizes SentinelOne (or its third-party payment processor) to charge Customer the Self-Service Transaction. Customer represents and warrants that it has the legal right to use all payment method(s) represented by the provided Payment Information. When Customer initiates a Self-Service Transaction, Customer authorizes SentinelOne to provide its Payment Information to third parties so it can complete the Self-Service Transaction and to charge Customer’s payment method for the type of Self-Service Transaction selected (plus any applicable taxes and other charges). Additional information to verify Customer identity may be required before completing Customer’s Self-Service Transaction.

Upon purchase, Customer will be charged the subscription fee, plus any applicable taxes, and other charges (such as overages) at the beginning of Customer’s Subscription Term and each Subscription Term (e.g., monthly or annually, as specified when you purchase such Subscription) thereafter, at the then-current Subscription Term. SentinelOne (or its third-party payment processor) will automatically charge Customer each Subscription Term on the calendar day of the commencement of Customer’s Subscription Term, using the Payment Information provided until Customer cancels the Subscription Term. In the event Customer’s Subscription Term began on a day not contained in a given month, the payment method will be charged on a day in the applicable month or such other similar day as SentinelOne (or our third party payment processor) deems appropriate. By agreeing to these DataSet Terms and electing to purchase a Subscription Customer acknowledges that the Subscription Term has recurring payment features and accepts all responsibility recurring payment obligations prior to cancellation of the Subscription Term. Subscription Terms purchase as a Self Service Transaction shall continue until canceled by Customer or SentinelOne terminates access to or use of the DataSet or Subscription in accordance with these DataSet Terms .

If Customer’s use of the DataSet in any given calendar month exceeds the chosen usage purchased during Self-Service Transaction, Customer will be charged at the end of such month for the excess usage over the at the rate set forth on the Site. Customer agrees to pay the additional fees for excess usage for the applicable calendar month without any right of set-off or deduction.

Customer can change the Service Capacity applicable to Customer’s Subscription Term at any time during the Subscription Term. If Customer upgrades it’s usage, Customer will be charged the applicable pro-rata Fee for the upgraded usage. If Customer reduces its usage, the fees will be effective as of the next billing cycle.
